The section 504, Rehabilitation Act of 1973, defines the rights of people with disabilities. The Americans with Disabilities Restoration Act, (ADA) of 2008 U.S, holds the regulations and the limitations of the rights of disabled people in America. The length to which the people with disabilities can have some advantage over those without disabilities. The Individuals with Disabilities Education (IDEA) on the other hand protects the rights of the American children with disabilities. All the Acts have been established to safeguard the human dignity of the American Individual’s with disabilities. The Acts are all in place for one reason, to make life more comfortable and bearable for people with disabilities and give them a fair chance at life.

The similarity of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Restoration Act with The IDEA is that they all protect in a way the rights of people with disabilities. All three Acts promote the tailoring of facilities to accommodate the people with disabilities in the system, making the possible alterations to the same effect. These Acts are complementary to each other. There are children who might not be legible for protection under the IDEA but can get protection under the Americans with Disability Restoration Act. They ensure that the people with disability have security in their life and a voice they can count on.

The Rehabilitation Act ensures that people with disabilities are not discriminated against based on their well-being. For instance; when applying for jobs so long as they are qualified and prove as competent as the company requires. It contains the regulations that guide the operations of schools, workplaces, organizations and other competitive social and commercial institutions. The rules regard the treatment of the people with disabilities and provide the guidelines dealing with the breach of the regulations.

The Americans with Disabilities Restoration Act 0f 2008 was mainly focused on whether the law protects the claims of the individuals with disabilities. The definition of disability by the Americans with Disabilities Restoration Act implied that disability was considered a disability when it altered the ability of an individual to lead a healthy life. The Acts together guard the American individual living with disabilities in instances where they are likely to face discrimination while on the other hand regulating how far their rights are applicable.

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act provides for the provision of education for children with disabilities tailored to suit their needs for free. This Act protects the rights of children with disabilities and gives their parents a voice in the education. It allows or the parents to make decisions regarding the upbringing of their children for purposes of protection and security of the children. It has given the guidelines for inclusion in the protection bracket. It has specified the disabilities that are legible for protection under the Act. There are regulations for the qualifications of the people who are readable for support under Act. This Act provides for the children with disabilities to have access to appropriate public education while all the others are more focused on the general survival of people with disabilities.

In conclusion, the Acts have one thing in common, to have the rights of the individuals with disabilities protected. They work in different ways and follow separate routes of application to the daily life of the person with a disability. The Americans with Disabilities Restoration Act (ADA) of 2008 U.S, however, has carefully examined these rights and put in place regulations in that they are not overly protected even when they are in a position to do it on their own. The only difference becomes the circumstance under which they are enacted.
