PROJECT INFORMATION:

This assignment consists of two parts. For this project you will research TWO senior nutrition programs that provide meals and/or food support to senior citizens. You are to answer the questions below in detail.  You will then analyze the effects of each program by locating scholarly articles that support the program. For example, a number of studies have been conducting on the benefits of Meals on Wheels, Congregate meal sites, SNAP, etc.  for the elderly population. Review the literature and summarize current studies based on the program you chose to report on.

 Based on your readings, use of technology, literature, and other sources do the following:

Identify and research two agencies that provide meals and/or food support to senior citizens.You may desire to call the program to obtain details; do NOT copy and paste information from their website. 8. How difficult or easy may it be for an elder to find adequate information to utilize this program? Why?
